Sad News: Eagles main player fell and collapsed and it has been confirmed

At this point in time, the Seattle Seahawks clinching a spot in the NFL playoffs is probably a stretch, with the team losing five out of their last six games and set to go up against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15.

Along with the team being on a losing streak and seemingly unable to get back to form, the Seahawks might not have star quarterback Geno Smith under center for the team’s matchup against the Eagles on Monday Night Football.

Both teams will come into this game on Monday night desperate for a win, as the Eagles have also hit a rough patch with two straight losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.

If the Seahawks have to turn to Drew Lock to shoulder the load under center against a hungry Eagles team, Seattle could be in for a long night against a Philadelphia team looking to bounce back with a vengeance.

Smith left his status for Monday’s game up in the air even though he is admittedly feeling better than he was last week, according to John Boyle of Seahawks.com.

Even if Smith is able to get back on the field on Monday, the Seahawks will still likely be the underdogs on Monday Night Football in Seattle at Lumen Field because the Eagles are simply the superior team at the moment.

Unlike last season, when Smith resurrected his career in Seattle, the veteran has struggled this year as he hasn’t been the same player for the Seahawks, which has resulted in the team being where they are right now.
