Grunge Legends Alice in Chains Announce Triumphant Comeback Tour and Highly Anticipated Album
Alice in Chains, one of the most iconic bands of the grunge era, has officially announced their long-awaited return with a brand-new studio album and an extensive global tour. The legendary Seattle-based band will release Resurrection, their first full-length album in seven years, in the spring of 2025. Along with the album, Alice in Chains will embark on a world tour, bringing their signature heavy riffs and haunting melodies to fans across the globe.
This marks a major milestone for the band, who have remained an enduring force in rock since their formation in 1987. Their last major project, Rainier Fog (2018), was met with critical acclaim, and the new album promises to build on that success with a fresh sound that still honors their grunge roots.
Lead guitarist Jerry Cantrell shared his excitement about the album, stating, “Resurrection is a reflection of everything we’ve been through as a band, and as people. We’ve pushed ourselves creatively, and we can’t wait for our fans to hear it.” Vocalist William DuVall echoed this sentiment, calling the album a powerful testament to the band’s resilience and evolution over the years.
Alongside the album release, Alice in Chains will hit the road in summer 2025 for a North American tour, followed by a European and Asian leg in the fall. The band promises a high-energy show featuring both new songs and classic hits like “Man in the Box” and “Rooster.”
Fans are eager for the return of the grunge pioneers, and with the announcement of Resurrection and the world tour, Alice in Chains is set to reclaim their place at the forefront of rock music once again.
