Blackpool are said to be determined to beat off competition to sign Birmingham City striker Sam Cosgrove.

Sun reporter Alan Nixon claims the League One club are keen to take the 26-year-old on loan amid rival interest from the likes of Charlton, Oxford, Derby County and Barnsley

It is claimed that all of the clubs have “been in discussions” over both loans and permanent moves for Cosgrove, who joined Blues for a reported £2m two years ago.
