West Brom goalkeeper Josh Griffiths is reportedly undergoing his medical at Portsmouth ahead of a loan move there.
According to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, the 20-year-old had offers from other clubs but decided to join Pompey for the upcoming season.
He believes that Danny Cowley could get the best out of him like he did with Gavin Bazunu last season.

Makes sense
Crook has been coming up the ranks and putting in splendid performances but he’s still ready to knock on Steve Bruce’s door for a first-team berth.
He’s shown his professionalism by going out on loan and getting regular game time and is doing the same for next season as well.
These gestures will certainly not go unnoticed and we cannot wait to see how he fares at Pompey.
They’re a big club historically so the eyeballs will be more on them than other teams in their division and it will be a good test and learning experience for the youngster.
A good performance there may catapult him up the pecking order and next season he may realistically challenge for a play in the first team.
