The Las Vegas Raiders selected Decamerion Richardson with the 112th pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The product of Louisiana has been taken in the NFL draft three times in a row as an MSU cornerback.
In this year’s draft, Richardson is the first Bulldog off the board. In Las Vegas, he is the only product of Mississippi State.
Before him were Emmanuel Forbes and Martin Emerson, who are both large, physical corners, much like Richardson. Richardson will use his skills because he was the Bulldogs’ greatest pure athlete during the previous campaign.

He could do better as a tackler if he put more effort into that area. Richardson will draw attention right away due to his stature and top end speed, but his narrow scheme fit and lack of skill set will hinder him.”
