AMAZING CHANCE,NO MERCY: Celtics head coach plans to hit heats weak

The Heat will play the Celtics on Saturday night in an attempt to win their second straight series, but they will be lacking players for Game 3 due to a recent addition to the injury list.

Josh Richardson (shoulder surgery) and Jimmy Butler (MCL sprain) are out for the duration of the series. Terry Rozier, who is recovering from a neck ailment, missed the opening two games of the series while travelling to Boston with the Heat.Delon Wright, the backup guard, is a recent addition to the Heat injury report, although his status is uncertain due to personal issues. Despite having slight concerns, Duncan Robinson, Kevin Love, and Nikola Jovic are all cleared to play. Luke Kornet (calf), who missed Games 1 and 2 in Boston, has been upgraded to probable, meaning the Celtics should be back at full strength.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra remains murky  on Rozier’s status for the series after multiple reports out of Miami hinted they would not be surprised if Rozier does not play in Round 1. He has missed eight straight games overall after suffering the injury in early April.

Wright’s potential absence looms large for Miami since he’s been a big contributor in the first two games, averaging 11.0 points while shooting 63 percent from the field. He’s also logged heavy minutes, averaging 23 in the opening two games of the series.

Without him, Miami may need to turn to Patty Mills in a bench role or simply trim their rotation to eight players for a pivotal Game 3. No matter who suits up, Kristaps Porzingis knows the the Celtics will need to make adjustments to the gameplan for Game 3.Porzingis remarked, “We’re following the game plan pretty well.” We can probably improve in a few minor areas during the game, but we’re kind of growing stale and maybe getting a little too caught up in their exploits. They also provoke us to reflect. They switch, then they don’t, doing this on one possession and doing something else on another. That may force you to pause for a moment since you will begin to consider your next move before moving on too quickly. You have to give them credit because they’re good at the game they play, the game within the game. However, we’ll see in the future.
