Before the 2024 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens signed Rashod Bateman to a three-year agreement, securing their future.

Less than 48 hours before the 2024 NFL Draft, on Wednesday, the Baltimore Ravens signed Rashod Bateman to a three-year, $15 million agreement, further solidifying their position at the receiver position.

A first-round selection in 2021, Bateman was awaiting word on whether the Ravens would exercise his fifth-year option or allow him to go free after the 2024 campaign. Rather than taking any of those routes, Bateman and the Ravens settled on a long-term contract.

The deal will pay Bateman $5 million per year, which is far less than what he would have made with his fifth-year option. The Ravens also weren’t willing to let Bateman enter a contract year, which shows that there is desire to keep him.
