The coaching staff at Tennessee is starting to use the transfer site more frequently. The Vols have shifted their focus to a top Pac-12 target after acquiring the No. 1 tight end in Holden Staes and a top-10 safety in Jakobe Thomas.

According to 247Sports Transfer Rankings, Oregon State corner Jermod McCoy is ranked No. 7 in the transfer portal this cycle. After an outstanding true freshman season, he has three years of eligibility remaining. He graduated from high school in 2023. For the Beavers in 2023, McCoy recorded 31 tackles, seven pass deflections, and two interceptions.

Tennessee has been active in this one, and on Monday they got two predictions from insiders to land McCoy. 247Sports’s Chris Hummer and Collin Kennedy logged predictions in Tennessee’s favor, a strong sign for the Vols.
