Just In: Nottingham Forest coach Announced a crucial transfer deal

It appears like Atletico Mineiro and Nottingham Forest are completing the necessary procedures to officially announce Gustavo Scarpa’s transfer.

The Galo’s offer for the midfielder’s permanent move has already been approved by the Tricky Trees, as this week’s Brazilian media revealed.

Journalist Jorge Nicola provides an update on the situation at this point, asserting that it will only be a “matter of time” until Atlético announces the agreement with Nottingham Forest.

Contracts are allegedly being drafted currently, with the Galo reportedly paying €5 million for the deal. It is also made clear that the Brazilian side will make several years’ worth of installment payments rather than paying the entire amount at once.
Gustavo Scarpa was signed by Nottingham Forest as a free agent back in January, so they didn’t have to pay much to bring him here from Brazil. He only made 10 appearances this season due to injury and personal issues, and he was unable to persuade the club that he should have been in the starting lineup.

He only made 11 appearances while on loan at Olympiacos this season, thus he didn’t have many opportunities either. It seems that the Greek side removed all barriers to his spell’s completion there.
