JUST IN: In week 15, the Dallas Cowboys appear to have defeated the Buffalos.

The Dallas Cowboys did not play a regular-season 15th game until 1978, when the NFL expanded to 16 games.

The Cowboys have a 25-20 overall record in Week 15 games over the last 45 years. In Week 15 games, Dallas is 12-9 at home and 13-11 on the road.

The Cowboys travel to Buffalo this week, where they are 1-3 versus the Bills in games played in upstate New York.

Dallas is a dismal 2-6 in Week 15 games versus AFC opponents. Dallas has never faced Buffalo in Week 15 before.

For their two Week 15 victories, they defeated Pittsburgh at home in 2012 and the Raiders in Oakland in 2017.

They were defeated by the Jets in both of their Week 15 games. They have also lost single games against the Colts, Jaguars, Browns, and Chiefs.

The Cowboys’ 23-14 record versus NFC opponents is emphasized by their victory against NFC South teams in Week 15.

Dallas has a 3-0 record versus the Saints, a 2-0 record against the Buccaneers, and a Week 15 victory over the Falcons. The Panthers were the only team to defeat the Panthers at home in 1997.

The Cowboys are 5-2 against the NFC West, with 2-1 wins over the Cardinals and Rams, as well as a win over the 49ers.

Dallas is 1-1 against the NFC North, with wins over the Vikings and losses to the Packers.

The Cowboys are 11-10 against their East division rivals. They have a 3-2 record versus the Giants but a 4-4 record against the Eagles and Commanders.

From 2001 to 2006, the Cowboys were on the road in Week 15. During that time, they went 2-4.

Dallas will be playing their third straight Week 15 road game when they face the Bills tonight.

Dallas has won three consecutive Week 15 home games (2016, 2019, and 2020), but they have never won more than two consecutive Week 15 home games since 1986.

The Bills are 3-2 versus the Cowboys in games played in Buffalo, with the Bills winning the most recent match, 16-6, in 2015.

Dallas defeated Buffalo 49-37 in the first encounter in 1971.

The Cowboys are 4-2 in home games versus the Bills. The Cowboys won the first two games versus the Bills at Texas Stadium.
