One of the many advantages of living in Las Vegas is the availability of excellent restaurants. And that is one of the aspects of his NFL career that Raiders center Andre James likes.

The former offensive lineman was an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2019 and shifted to center as a rookie, spending the next two seasons learning his new trade. He was ready to start working by 2021 and hasn’t looked back since.

James has become one of the many “foodies” in the Raiders locker room, and he is always quick to offer a restaurant recommendation when asked.Vegas Nation approached James and asked him to name his favorite local restaurants. He agreed, but asked for a day to think about it. He had a comprehensive list by the next day, which included his five favorite restaurants on the Strip as well as his five favorite eateries off the Strip.

You should look into it. On weekends, it’s unquestionably the place to be seen. There is always someone present. The live entertainment is usually spectacular. They provide chicken tenders as appetizers. Unreal. I like to create tiny glasses of Caesar salad. But for the main course, I’m going for beef Wellington. The Beef Wellington is out of control there.

That’s my territory, dude. My go-to is always the barbecue pork, followed by the barbecue pork buns. They’re completely out of control. I could eat those all day if I went there. And, of course, you must perform the duck. The crispy duck is delicious. “All of the dumplings there are always delicious.”

“I’m very picky about steak, and I think the steak they make there is out of control.” They do things correctly. They dry age it all… from Australian or American Wagyu. They have it all. Then they finish it off with a wood fire grill, which is really rare in Las Vegas. It’s out of hand. My favorite steakhouse in Vegas by far.

It’s similar to Mediterranean cuisine, and everything is cooked over an open flame on Argentinian barbecues. It’s ludicrous. The fish is all flown in from the Mediterranean Sea. The lamb chops are my favorite thing to order there. Those are my favorite. They’re fantastic. I’m making the Milos special, which is fried zucchini and squash, for the appetizer. They softly fried it, and in the middle is a tzatziki sauce with a variety of condiments. It’s out of hand. The lamb chops and ribeye are delicious. And I always prepare a sea bass or some kind of fish on the open grill.”

“Whenever I go there, I always order the gyro platter.” It comes with sliced gyro meat. The lamb and beef are outstanding. And I serve it with half a side of fries and half a side of rice. It also includes a little side salad. I always serve baklava and rice pudding as a side dish. it’s my go-to answer for it.”
