Travis Kelce made his vocal debut this week alongside his fellow Philadelphia lineman on his brother Jason Kelce’s second Christmas CD, A Philly Special Christmas.

Travis agreed to do a sibling duet this year, and their song, “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” was released on Wednesday.

Within hours, it had risen to the top ten on iTunes, as Jason joyfully announced on X (previously Twitter).

“This is incredibly humbling, thank you to all for supporting!!” Jason posted this when sharing a screenshot of the song at number eight on the charts.

This is quite humbling; thank you to everyone who has helped!!” Jason posted this when sharing a screenshot of the song at number eight on the charts.

After a few hours, the song topped the charts, and the Eagles player responded with a funny GIF of Will Ferrell from Elf leaping up and down with joy.

The news was also retweeted by the Kelce brothers’ podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, which included a GIF of Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, saying, “Anything is possible, baby,” in a post-game interview.

On the song, Travis made a few humorous barbs at his elder brother, allowing the NFL players to enjoy their brotherly love in classic Philadelphia form. He referred to him as a “phony” and declared his desire for “this Christmas to be our last.”

Although Travis made his musical debut with the song, Jason was already familiar with it, having published his first Christmas CD with Eagles colleagues Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata the previous year. The group has returned for its second year, and they are now attempting to raise money for charity each year.

The previous year, they raised more than $1 million for local Philadelphia NGOs.

The NFL three just appeared on Today to discuss their second Christmas episode. Jason even mentioned the idea of him and his brother’s current girlfriend, Taylor Swift, getting involved in the future.

In response to a question on Swift’s probable involvement from Today co-host Sheinelle Jones, he said, “Maybe, not this one, not this time around.” “That would be amazing, perhaps in the future.”

The CD also includes a duet between Mailata and Patti LaBelle. The trio sang Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas,” the best Christmas tune of all time.

“It was a little nerve-racking at first because [I] can’t really do the same key as the Queen of the Holidays,” Mailata said of her rendition of Carey’s popular single. “She’s amazing. So we had to dial it back a few keys and, you know, put our own spin on it. And I think it came out extremely well.”

Mailata, unlike Jason and Johnson, has a singing background. He appeared in season 7 of The Masked Singer, when his vocal ability won over both the judges and the audience.

“I was a singer before I was an athlete,” the Australian athlete explained.

According to Today, the revenues from this year’s record will go to the Eagles’ Autism Foundation.
