The Alabama Crimson Tide rose in the men’s basketball coaches poll, which was revealed on Monday.

Alabama, which began the season ranked 24th, is now ranked 22nd after victories against Morehead State and Indiana State last week. Aaron Estrada led Alabama to a 102-80 victory over the Sycamores.

Grant Nelson guided Alabama to a 105-73 victory over Morehead State in his first game. He finished the game with a team-high 24 points and seven rebounds.

Alabama moved up to No. 22 after beating Morehead State and Indiana State last week. Alabama defeated the Sycamores 102-80 thanks to Aaron Estrada’s 27 points.

The Crimson Tide (2-0) hosts South Alabama on Tuesday before hosting Mercer in the Emerald Coast Classic on Friday.

Kansas and Purdue are still ranked first and second, respectively. Arizona, who began the season ranked 11th, is now ranked third. The top five are completed by UConn and Marquette.
