The Cincinnati Bengals have rediscovered their form as AFC contenders, winning four straight games against tough opposition. However, their chances of extending their winning streak on Sunday are in risk due to significant injuries to standout wide outs Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Chase and Higgins are perhaps the best wide receiver tandem in sport, and they play a significant role in the Bengals’ offensive prowess.

Both appear to be in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Higgins is expected to miss the game, according to reports, and Chase only returned to practise in a restricted capacity on Thursday. The Cincinnati Bengals have won back their division.

Chase did say that he believes he would be able to participate in the game, which is clearly promising.

Regardless, there appears to be a very real possibility that Chase will not be 100 percent for the game. And he’ll almost certainly be without Higgins, his co-star at wide receiver.

That might cause concerns for the Texans, especially given how impressive their offence has been in recent weeks.

C.J. Stroud, the Houston Texans’ rookie quarterback, is really coming into his own as a promising NFL quarterback, as evidenced by his five-touchdown performance in the team’s Week 9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
