Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders is clearly upbeat following Sunday’s 30-6 victory over the New York Giants, and he appears relieved to see previous head coach Josh McDaniels go.

On Monday night, Adams, 30, was sitting courtside at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with former MLB star Dexter Fowler, watching women’s college basketball. Adams was captured chatting to one of the officials before No. 20 Colorado beat top-ranked and defending champs LSU.

‘Loved seeing you guys go back on that winning track yesterday,’ the official said in a video shared by Bleacher Report.

‘Did you go yesterday?’ As they passed the basketball, Adams inquired.

The referee then approached Adams and told him about his segment from the night before. ‘It’s going to be better now,’ Adams said again.
The victory on Sunday came after McDaniels was fired on October 31. The Raiders were 3-5 under McDaniels, who was fired following a 26-14 loss to the Lions.

Players and staff reportedly conducted an emotional meeting five days before his firing to call McDaniels out on his dominating behaviour. Following the meeting, McDaniels was described as a’shell of himself’ by the NFL network.

The Raiders dressing room was significantly revitalised after McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler were sacked.

‘It’s more of an attitude that we’re trying to… not force, but just go forward to be as positive as possible,’ Adams told The Athletic. ‘There is a clear shift now where we can say things are different and we have a chance to change them.’

‘We’re not going around on eggshells all the time,’ receiver Hunter Renfrow noted.

Raiders owner Mark Davis named Champ Kelly as interim general manager and Antonio Pierce as interim head coach.

As the Raiders prepare to face the Jets on Sunday, Adams had four receptions for 34 yards against the Giants. The Raiders are presently third in the AFC West.
