Justin Jefferson, the phenomenal wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, could be activated from the injured reserve list. Jefferson has missed the last four games owing to a hamstring ailment.

However, it is unclear whether the wide receiver will be able to play again against the New Orleans Saints.

The Minnesota Vikings’ head coach, Kevin O’Connell, is unsure when the wide receiver will return to the field. Jefferson suffered a hamstring injury in the loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. The team is also “working through” his return, according to the head coach.

“Justin has done a phenomenal job in his rehab,” O’Connell added.

“He’s still in meetings, he’s mentally present.”

“It’s possible we’ll open his window on Wednesday,” he added. But we’ll do what’s best for Justin and make sure we’re acting appropriately so that when Justin returns, he can be the Justin Jefferson we all know and expect to see out there. I just want to commend him on how he’s handled it and the entire process.”

When a player returns to practise after being placed on the injured reserve, the team has twenty days to add him to the active roster. If the player is not activated within the specified time frame, he will be placed on injured reserve for the duration of the season.
