ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO – The Broncos will be without two crucial players in Week 2, but one of their top receiving threats will return.
Outside linebacker Frank Clark (hip) and tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) have been ruled out of Denver’s Sunday game against the Washington Commanders.
Clark did not practise on Thursday or Friday after being limited on Wednesday, and Dulcich did not participate in any of the team’s three practise sessions.
The return of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, on the other hand, should help the Broncos. After not being granted a game status for the Week 2 battle, the fourth-year player is scheduled to make his season debut against Washington.
The lack of a game status implies that a player is available to participate.
Head coach Sean Payton also stated that Jeudy (hamstring) will not be limited in his snap count on Sunday.
“He’s healthy,” Payton stated. “He’s good.”
Jeudy took part in full practise on both Thursday and Friday.
For the second day in a row, cornerback Riley Moss (abdomen) and defensive tackle D.J. Jones (knee) were full participants and were not issued game statuses.
