Daniel Farke has taken over as Leeds United’s head coach, and Junior Firpo has provided an update on his knee ailment.
Junior Firpo claims that after missing time with an injury, he is nearing a comeback for Leeds United. Due to a knee injury, the former Barcelona full-back has yet to play this season. However, he is poised to give Farke a huge lift by acting as if he has just signed a new contract.

I am now in excellent physical condition, have almost fully recovered from my most recent injury, and I am eager to rejoin the squad.
Outside of club responsibilities, Firpo has been more candid about his international affiliation. The defender, who was born in the Dominican Republic but now calls Spain home, played youth football for the former world champions.
Despite his refusal to commit, Firpo has left the door open for a future call-up for his native country. “Of course I have followed it (the selection),” he continued. I regularly keep tabs on the Dominican Republic’s athletic endeavors. As a result,
Because I was born there and my entire family is Dominican, I take great joy whenever my country, to which I devote my efforts, makes a sporting accomplishment. It makes me extremely happy that the Dominican Republic is finally becoming recognized at the level of national football teams; the accomplishments of the U20 team were crucial, and the nation qualified for a significant competition like the Olympic Games, which will be widely watched.
“We had a very fruitful conversation here in England, and I could tell that Dominican soccer is headed in the right direction right now and has a bright future. And yes, they did provide me with the entire proposal and all of their ideas for the development of football in the Dominican Republic; as I said, the meeting was really positive and healthy.
“The Dominican supporters eagerly anticipate my joining the national squad, which gives them great pleasure and honor. However, I always use caution when using words since I don’t want to raise anyone’s expectations or make promises that I won’t meet.
