Jaidon Anthony and Luis Sinisterra will trade loans with Leeds United.
After the summer transfer window closed, a last deal was completed for Leeds United. Jaidon Anthony will move in the opposite direction, while Luis Sinisterra will go on loan to Bournemouth for the year.
The 23-year-old cushions the blow of Sinisterra’s abrupt departure at Elland Road as the ninth summer window arrival. Anthony started his career at Arsenal, then transferred there on a youth contract before making it to Bournemouth’s first team.
At Dean Court so far this season, the winger hasn’t been a backup option; he’s started three of their four games with Andoni Iraola. When Bournemouth was promoted to the Premier League in 2021–2022, Anthony scored eight goals in 45 Championship matches. He won’t be available to make his debut tomorrow against Sheffield Wednesday.
Throughout the summer, Sinisterra has been amenable to leaving Elland Road. Although his relegation loan clause did expire in the middle of August, his representatives have insisted that it was activated earlier

That was the legal issue which ultimately saw the Colombian removed from training before his reintegration last week. That debate flared up again with Sinisterra’s representatives this week, with legal action one possibility Leeds were not prepared to face.

In an effort to see Sinisterra replaced adequately before tonight’s deadline, offers from other Premier Lrague clubs and Nice were rejected because they did not have the right players available to go in the other direction. Anthony made the Bournemouth approach make sense.
