Leeds United are in talks with Joel Piroe, and a £10 million proposal for a new signing has been submitted.
Leeds United have sent an official offer of £100million to Swansea in an opening bid for Dutch striker Joel Piroe after holding talks with his representatives, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper shared via its website on 23 August that Daniel Farke is keen on bolstering his attacking options, and as such the club has been speaking to representatives to gauge their interest in a deal.
Piroe has scored 44 goals over the space of two seasons between 2021 and 2023, prompting interest from Southampton, Leicester and Everton who could still challenge Leeds for his signature.

He is worth every penny they ask for
Leeds signing Piroe could be the difference between getting stuck in the Championship and earning promotion at the first time of asking. His goals are exactly what Leeds are missing, and with an average of 21 per season over the last two years, he would be a game-changer for the Yorkshire club.
Swansea’s asking price has previously been reported to be set at around £15million, although their stance may have changed due to the stage of the transfer window we are now in, but Leeds’ opening bid will still fall short.

Negotiations are now underway, though, and talks with his entourage are almost certain to have been positive if Leeds have been tempted into making their interest official.
While important areas of the pitch still need to be improved upon, particularly at full-back and in midfield, signing a striker of Piroe’s quality and stature would be a massive deal for Leeds.
The need for a new striker has been prevalent all summer, particularly following the injury Patrick Bamford sustained against Hearts in pre-season, which exposed the lack of depth up front.
