Three top PL clubs now interested in ‘outstanding’ £98m Wolves star, including Liverpool….
Liverpool and two other top Premier League clubs have reportedly identified Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina as a potential target, with just two weeks left in the summer transfer window.
Wolves are currently looking to sell a couple more players before the window closes.
It has been claimed that Daniel Podence and Jonny Castro Otto are the two most like exits.
And fans are hoping that one or two new faces might walk through the door.
But of course, the financial situation right now is tricky, so who knows how successful Wolves will be on that front.
But this evening, a shock rumour has emerged about interest from Liverpool in Lemina…

Liverpool interested in Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina
Foot Mercato have boldly claimed this evening that Lemina is a target for Liverpool.
And actually, the Gabon international is appreciated by two other unnamed top Premier League sides. It is though Lemina’s display against Manchester United on Monday, which led Dave Edwards to brand him ‘outstanding’, has drawn attention to him.
There are also a number of clubs in the Saudi Pro League who like Lemina.
The publication add that Lemina is currently happy at Molineux.
There is no mention if Liverpool are planning to actually bid for Lemina.
Of course, the Reds recently missed out on Moises Caicedo to Chelsea. And the Blues could also land Romeo Lavia, who was another target for Liverpool.
Absolutely no chance Wolves sell Lemina
Wolves fans are likely to get a good laugh out of this particular link.
There is absolutely no chance Wanderers will be selling Lemina in the next two weeks. Surely
Unless Liverpool are about to offer an astronomical fee, and Lemina pushes for the exit, it just won’t happen.
The 29-year-old is simply too important for Wanderers.
He’s only been at the club since January, after signing for just under £10 million from Nice.
But Lemina is already one of Wolves’ best players, and is now part of a new leadership group at Molineux.
If this player is sold, Wolves officials can probably expect a very toxic atmosphere indeed at Molineux. He is simply that important to the team.
