However, Rusyn following Sunderland on the social media platform Instagram has caused speculation to break out amongst fans that a deal could be close.
Rusyn, who is a Ukrainian youth international, netted 13 goals in 30 games and also provided six assists in Ukrainian Premier League last season and scored for Zorya in their a1-1 draw against Rukh Liev earlier this season.
Zorya Londonsk also stated that other clubs are interested in signing the attacker during the summer transfer window but that Sunderland are the only team to have bid so far.

According to TaToTake’s YouTube channel, Sunderland are constantly improving their offers for Rusyn, with the latest bid said to be €2m and another €2m in bonuses but that offer has been rejected by Zorya’s president Yevhen Heller.
The report goes on to claim that Heller wants €3m for the 24-year-old, as well as a “big bonus”.
Rusyn was the second top scorer in the UPL last season with 13 goals and six assists and has already got off the mark this season.
Everton have delayed striker Tom Cannon’s loan move until they sign two new forwards, according to reports.
The Black Cats have been linked with a move for Cannon alongside former loan club Preston North End and Championship newcomers Sheffield Wednesday.
However, Alan Nixon has now stated that the striker’s loan move will have to wait until the Premier League club secure two replacements after selling Ellis Simms to Coventry this summer.
Preston North End are thought to be the favourites to sign Cannon after last season’s impressive loan spell. However, North End manager Ryan Lowe was guarded about the prospect of a return.
“I’ve got no comment on it until we know,” Lowe said when asked about transfers and Cannon. “You probably know more than me. I don’t hear anything or listen to any of the social media stuff going on. I just wait for a phone call and when that comes you will know about it.
