Jack Burroughs has joined League One side Lincoln City on a season-long loan from Coventry City.
Burroughs signed a new contract with the Sky Blues earlier this summer, and was part of Mark Robins’ squad for pre-season. However, he has not featured in the first two matches of the 2023/24 campaign and will now be spending it with Lincoln.
The versatile 22-year-old, who can play as a wing-back or winger on either flank, has been with hometown club Coventry since the age of five. He has progressed through the ranks to make 20 senior appearances to date, including 12 last season as the Sky Blues reached the Championship play-off final.
He has previously had loan spells with Nuneaton Town, Gloucester City and Ross County. After joining Lincoln, Burroughs said: “I’m at the stage of my career where I need to play games, I was interested as soon as the club showed an interest in me and the style of play suits me.
