The latest Tigers transfer news from the MKM Stadium in new season week.
Hull City winger Ryan Longman is attracting interest from a number of clubs abroad with the Championship outfit understood to have been the subject of firm bids this week.
Longman has become something of a fringe figure at City in recent months and could yet leave the club before the transfer window closes on September 1, as head coach Liam Rosenior looks to make key tweaks to his squad.
Hull Live understands the 22-year-old has attracted strong interest from the Turkish Super Lig while there are potential suitors elsewhere in the Championship keen to strike a permanent deal.
City signed Longman from Brighton and Hove Albion on an initial season-long loan deal following their promotion to the Championship in 2021 and after impressing during that spell under Grant McCann, the Tigers made his move permanent in January 2022 following Acun Ilicali’s takeover.

Since then, the former Seagull’s youngster has struggled to pin down a regular place in Rosenior’s starting XI, with teenage sensation Harry Vaughan and Allahyar Sayyadamnesh prefered in the wing roles within City’s system with Longman largely restricted to cameo showings off the bench.
Interest in Longman is growing and though City would be loathed to lose a player they believe has potential, the players’ desire to play regular football is also a key factor, something that is not assured this season.
Longman’s first-team opportunities are likely to be further hampered with the arrival of Jason Lokilo, and it’s understood the club continue to work on bringing in another pacey addition to their attacking flank options.
City are facing up a number of possible departures ahead of the season kicking off this weekend, with Benjamin Tetteh moving to French club Metz and Ryan Woods being given permission to move on.
The Tigers have lodged a bid with Derby County for midfielder Max Bird, and while they remain in negotiations over another key target, it’s not thought to be Fenerbahce man Ryan Kent, despite rumours in the Turkish media.
Aaron Connolly’s move from Longman’s former club Brighton is awaiting the green light to be made public, with the Republic of Irishman becoming the fourth signing of the summer.
