Eddie Howe has stated unequivocally that he does not plan to trade Callum Wilson this summer and anticipates having his number nine at St. James’ Park for the 2024–2025 campaign.
Wilson, who is approaching the end of his contract, has been mentioned as a player who may raise money to help the team’s PSR and FFP circumstances. Wilson, who has scored an amazing 47 goals for Newcastle in spite of injury setbacks, is happy with his life at the team but has been linked to a lucrative deal in the Pro League of Saudi Arabia.
Allan Saint-Maximim had to be sold to Al-Ahli last summer in order for Howe to balance the budget and finance new acquisitions like Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento. However, he took a defiant stand against Wilson.
