The Los Angeles Lakers will face their toughest opponent in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs now that they have officially qualified. The Lakers will play the Denver Nuggets again eleven months after being swept in the Western Conference Finals.
Thanks to Nikola Jokic, Denver has defeated the Lakers eight times in a row, and the squad appears to have the Lakers beat. Because of this, the Lakers come into this series as a huge underdog, and a series victory would solidify their status as the West’s leading title contender.

Despite Gabe Vincent’s defensive presence helping the Lakers this season, Ham still has the potential to cause problems. It would be a mistake for Ham, who enjoys playing a variety of guard groupings, to turn to Spencer Dinwiddie to eat up rotational minutes.
Although Dinwiddie has been a net negative for the Lakers generally, he has had a few great performances. His typical offensive inefficiencies combined with his bad defence have made for a lot of wasted minutes. Although he can score baskets off the bench with ease, Lakers supporters haven’t seen him play with enough consistency to count on that.
