Pittsburgh — With injured rookie cornerback Cory Trice Jr. returning to practice with his club this month, it appears the Pittsburgh Steelers may be able to add some depth at cornerback without having to do much work.

Trice was spotted working out at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex alongside Russell Wilson, Jaylen Warren, Jaylen Robinson, and Joey Porter Jr. as official offseason conditioning programmes got underway in the Steel City. The Steelers also shared a photo gallery of the players there.

The Steelers have Joey Porter Jr. written in sharpie atop the cornerback depth chart and veteran offseason addition Donte Jackson figures to fill another spot. But they still need a reliable slot cornerback and other depth at the position, so this is a big year for Trice to play his way onto the roster and into an NFL career.

The top slot on the cornerback depth chart belongs to Joey Porter Jr. for the Steelers, while experienced addition Donte Jackson is expected to fill another spot. This is a crucial year for Trice to make his way onto the roster and into an NFL career, but they still need another depth option at slot cornerback.
