Pittsburgh With a few guys this week and more to come as they progress through free agency and Pro Days, the Pittsburgh Steelers are starting to step up their pre-draft Top 30 visits.
The Steelers hosted pre-draft visits by Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and Georgia State offensive tackle Travis Glover this week. A few more names are expected to visit the facility today.
The Steelers are meeting with Oregon State offensive lineman Taliese Fuaga and South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette, according to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The Steelers are still interested in scouting some of the best wide receivers in the NFL Draft class, even though there has been a lot of talk about the team moving for a wide receiver.
With 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season with the Gamecocks, Legette is regarded as one of the finest wideouts available on Day 2 of the NFL Draft. Fuaga is a right tackle who is predicted to be selected in the second round.
The aforementioned players, along with Washington running back Dillon Johnson, Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske, Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley, Missouri defensive tackle Darius Robinson, and Northern Iowa defensive lineman Khristian Boyd, have all been scheduled for visits with the Steelers thus far.
