Rashee Rice, a wide receiver with the Kansas City Chiefs, is accused of causing multiple accidents involving six cars while street racing in Dallas. There’s allegedly a potential the NFL uses Rice as an example while the legal process is ongoing.

Due to his involvement in the mishap on March 30, Rice, age 23, is charged with six counts of collision involving bodily harm, one case of collision involving serious bodily injury, and one count of aggravation. The Chiefs receiver acknowledged that he was the driver of the Lamborghini involved in the Dallas hit-and-run incident on North Central Motorway.

Additionally, fresh information about Rice’s actions prior to the collision and the contents of his car have surfaced. An affidavit that CBS News was able to get states that Rice was travelling at 119 mph when he lost control of his Lamborghini and crashed in an area where the official speed limit was 70 mph.

Rice and his gang did not call the police or check on the crash victims as they quickly fled the scene on foot. The Lamborghini contained 10.8 grammes of marijuana when police arrived and searched the cars. Rice also did not get in touch with police after the crash for 48 hours.

NFL reporter Charles Robinson discussed what an insider in the league told him on possible discipline for Rice on the Yahoo Sports podcast Inside Coverage.

In order to give the legal process time to conclude, the NFL has not taken any action against Rice. But when it’s all said and done, the Chiefs’ best receiver might be looking at a lengthy suspension.

Jalen Carter, a defensive tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs, was charged on January 15, 2023, with street racing with a suspended licence in connection with an accident involving another car. Chandler LeCroy, a staff member at Georgia, and Devin Willock, a player for the Bulldogs, were killed when the other car collided with two utility lines and several trees.
