Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has opened up on Joe Burrow’s return from injury.
Injuries derailed Burrow’s 2023 season. In pre-season, he sustained a calf injury. In October, He suffered a season-ending wrist injury.
Without Burrow, the Bengals failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Ohio-raised superstar is pivotal to Cincinnati’s chances in 2024.
Burrow underwent surgery, and Taylor is optimistic about his quarterback’s recovery.
“It’s positive. It’s right on schedule,” Taylor told reporters. “So we’re encouraged with everything we thought it would be and where he will fit into our offseason.”Taylor also stated that he sees Burrow as being available for the voluntary part of the offseason in early spring.
