On Monday at noon, teams will be able to negotiate with veterans whose contracts are about to expire.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals a re-signing Cody Ford to a one-year contract according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Ford was the first offensive lineman off the bench for the Bengals last season, serving as a backup guard and tackle. He appeared in all 17 games for Cincinnati.

The 27-year-old was good in the locker room and was scheduled to hit free agency this week. Ford is entering his second season with the team.

Regarding Joe Mixon’s future in Cincinnati, Paul Dehner Jr. said that the Bengals “don’t have a reason” to keep him.
