Georgia Tech is going to be losing one of its top assistants to its arch-rival.
According to multiple reports, Georgia Tech wide receivers coach Josh Crawford is going to be taking the running backs coaching job for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs. Crawford spent one season in Atlanta as the wide receivers coach and did a great job in developing guys like Eric Singleton Jr (one of the nation’s top freshmen receivers) and also landing some big recruits like 2024 four-star wide receiver Isiah Canion.
This could be a big loss for Georgia Tech. Crawford did some impressive things while in Atlanta in terms of developing receivers and on the recruiting trail. Brent Key deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to making a hire, but Crawford will be tough to replace.
