Just In: Nottingham Forest sign 18-year-old £169 million midfielder  

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of talented youngster Adam Berry and it’s fair to say that he’s absolutely buzzing!

The player has reacted on Instagram after signing a professional contract at the City Ground.

So, what has Berry said after signing for Forest? Let’s take a closer look…

Well, this is another player that Forest have added to their youth ranks from United following the addition of Manni Norkett who signed in the summer.

Interestingly, the 18-year-old scored against United last weekend in the Under-18 Premier League.

Forest and the Red Devils drew 2-2 and it was the trialist who scored to down the club that he recently departed.

Berry typically plays as a central midfielder and after signing for Forest he’s taken to Instagram to speak of his pride.

He said on the social media platform: “New chapter. Proud to sign my first professional contract with such a big club. Massive thanks to Roham Parmar for getting it done.”

Well, this is a good question we hear you cry but it appears that the Reds might have got themselves a gem.

Berry has been with Manchester United since he was a youngster and he’s a midfielder.

It’s got to be viewed as exciting when Forest can take a player like Berry from a club with an academy as good as United’s.

He had made 27 appearances for the Red Devils in their under-18 ranks but he’s now penned pro terms at Forest.

Berry has represented England at a number of youth teams through the age groups and this could be an exciting signing for Forest.
