Maguire explained that Forest’s stadium plans will remain unaffected by financial regulations and will help the club to increase their overall revenue and wage bill.

It comes at a time when the club faces a possible points deduction for breaching Premier League financial rules.

I also think that with new regulations that are likely to replicate that of UEFA, increasing revenues is absolutely critical.

For every extra £1 million that Forest can generate from matchday revenue at their expanded stadium that’s an extra £700,000 on their wage bill.
