Just In: Raiders CB Contract have approved

The Las Vegas Raiders signed 18 players to reserve/future contracts this month. Of those players, 14 had finished the 2023 season on the team’s practice squad. Raiders cornerback Cornell Armstrong was one of those 14, having been first signed to Las Vegas’ practice squad back in October. Armstrong was activated to the active roster for the team’s Week 7 meeting with the Chicago Bears after Raiders cornerbacks Jakorian Bennett and Nate Hobbs were ruled out with injury. Armstrong did not play that Week 7 game, nor any game for the Raiders this season. He was placed back on the practice squad on Oct. 23.

Las Vegas signed Armstrong to a one-year, $1.1-million deal as part of his reserve/future contract in January.
