It’s our last New York Giants betting article of the 2023 season. I can probably calculate my track record, and I assume it’s not pretty. Perhaps I’ll work on a comprehensive strategy for next season for a net positive betting outcome; that would likely entail more likely bets.

Since it’s your money I’m risking rather than my own, I can be as bold as I choose despite my normally conservative approach to finances. Then again, that conservative nature also prevents me from betting as a rule; speculating about it gives me the thrill that others would get from actually betting.

Here are your prop bets for the Week 18 matchup between the Giants and Eagles.

Eagles' Nick Sirianni parts ways with another coach - nj.com

Tyrod Taylor: Over 201.5 passing yards (-115)

The Eagles allow 249.4 passing yards per game. Taylor threw for 319 yards against the Rams, who allow 234.6 passing yards per game. He also had 133 passing yards in one half against Philadelphia, although that was buoyed by one big pass to Darius Slayton. Even if the Eagles play their starters, there’s yardage to be had against this defense.

Darren Waller: Over 35.5 receiving yards (-110)

Waller had 51 receiving yards against the Rams. He caught two balls for 32 yards in one half with Taylor against the Eagles. Taylor has a far better connection with Waller than Tommy DeVito did. In his 10 full games (excluding the Jets game when he left in the first half), Waller averages 4.6 receptions for 50.3 yards per game. He should clear 35.5 yards.

Slayton: Longest reception over 21.5 yards (-110)

Like Waller, Slayton does better with Taylor as his quarterback. He’s put up 7 receptions for 196 yards over his past two games, including a 69-yarder from Taylor against Philadelphia and an 80-yard touchdown against the Rams. Slayton has a catch of over 21.5 yards in half his games this season.

NY Giants: To score between 21-30 points (+220)

The Eagles allow 25.1 points per game, and the Giants scored 25 points in the last game. New York also scored 25 points against the Rams, albeit with a punt return touchdown.

Isaiah Hodgins: Anytime TD (+950)

Hodgins has a touchdown on 16.7% of his catches this year. While that ratio is just 3 out of 18, why not take a flier at +950?
