Roberts was sidelined with a pectoral ailment, Jack even donned the green dot. However, Pittsburgh is adding two veteran players from its practice squad to the roster despite Roberts and Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) being listed as questionable with hopes of returning.

Pittsburgh will need to sign both players to the 53-man roster if they advance to the postseason because this is their third elevation to the active/inactive roster. Neither of them will be allowed to rise a fourth time. Reporters were informed by Roberts that he anticipates playing against the Ravens, although Jack will probably start alongside him. The Steelers will probably start Fitzpatrick and Patrick Peterson at safety, with Rowe coming off the bench, if Fitzpatrick plays.
