Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood has stressed the need for his team to be more consistent now following their first win under Nuno Espirito Santo.
On Boxing Day, the Tricky Trees defeated Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United 3-1, giving new manager Nuno a significant boost.
Although Wood, the team’s architect, did not want to place too much emphasis on it, it was the team’s first victory in the previous five games.
Wood, who scored all three goals in the game, believes that Nottingham Forest still needs to put together a number of strong performances before declaring that the situation has turned around.
The former Newcastle United player also took some time to emphasize the necessity for his squad to improve their consistency moving ahead.
