Given the group’s exciting future, Hatchard said resigning was an easy option.

“It was a no-brainer to sign on for four more years, I’ve built great connections with the staff and players over the years, and they have always had faith in me,” Hatchard said in a statement.

“I’m just really excited to see where we can go in the next four years with this young group of girls.””We’ve got so much talent and I think we can be a really successful side so I can’t wait to push myself and everyone else to keep improving and hopefully lift that Premiership Cup soon.”Hatchard will spend the off-season training for the Louisiana Marathon in order to collect funds for the Adelaide Crows Foundation’s Open Parachute program, which builds child and youth resilience to overcome life’s adversities.
