Wilson, a Fort Pierce, Florida native who signed with the Gators in the recruiting class of 2022, made the transfer after two seasons with the school on December 4 through the NCAA transfer portal.

Over 16 games with the Gators, Wilson recorded 40 tackles, 1.5 for loss, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup. He participated in just three games in 2023 after playing in 13 as a true freshman, which allowed him to receive a redshirt this year and three seasons of eligibility to use with the Sun Devils. Wilson made his initial comments on the matter on social media on December 7, saying, “My family and I came to the decision for myself to redshirt after the third game this season so that I could retain another season of eligibility.” “I didn’t base my choice on any outside considerations that were suggested. I respect the Gators coaching staff to the fullest extent possible.Kamari Wilson: 'I'm definitely messing with Auburn' - AuburnSports

Wilson joins quarterback Max Brown (Charlotte), wide receiver Caleb Douglas (Texas Tech), tight end Jonathan Odom (Eastern Michigan), and edge rusher Princely Umanmielen (Ole Miss) as the only other Florida player to reveal a transfer destination this offseason. This summer, sixteen players from Florida’s 2023 roster have signed up through the NCAA transfer site.
