According to top NFL Insider Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro will not be allowed to watch the game from the sidelines on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. DiSandro’s involvement in the altercation between the Eagles and Cowboys last week is the reason behind the punishment.

ESPN reports that the NFL is also anticipated to fine DiSandro, who will continue to be permitted to carry out his other responsibilities during the game.

The Eagles said in a statement, via NFL Media, “We are going to respect the restriction that is currently in place. This is an ongoing conversation with the NFL.” “Although Dom will not be on the sideline this Sunday, he will continue to fulfill his role with the team in all other capacities.”

Following this encounter with 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw, Eagles security director Dom DiSandro will not be permitted sideline access for Sunday’s game against Dallas. He’ll be able to carry out all of his other responsibilities. The situation is still being investigated by the NFLpic.twitter.com/LXCd3oSXTc.

After making contact with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who had thrown a finger in DiSandro’s face before DiSandro retaliated, DiSandro was dismissed from the game during last week’s victory against the Eagles. The two’s altercation was a part of the Eagles and 49ers’ in-game altercation.

Head coach of the 49ers, Kyle Shanahan, expressed regret to head coach of the Eagles Nick Sirianni, following the team’s decisive 42-19 victory.

According to a team transcript, Shanahan told reporters on Monday, “I definitely don’t have any hard feelings towards Dom or anything like that.” “I hope no one criticizes him too harshly. I believe he was simply caught up in an unusual and emotional circumstance. Thus, don’t hold grudges against him.

“Many people I know have heard nothing but positive things to say about him. I was just shocked that we lost our player as a result of it.”

Following the event, each and every team received a note from the NFL reminding them that team employees are not allowed to “engage with or make physical contact with another club’s player(s) or other personnel.”
