Unfortunately for the Bengals, their remaining schedule includes games against the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns.

This isn’t to suggest that Cincinnati can’t make the postseason in 2023, but the chances are stacked against them given their future schedule and the fact that they won’t have Burrow to help them out.

On Monday, Bengals backup quarterback Jake Browning filled in admirably as the team’s starter, passing for 354 yards and one touchdown.

If Browning can continue to play like he did against the Jaguars, Cincinnati’s playoff chances will improve significantly.
