The Tennessee Titans lost a physical battle with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13, and more than that, several of their top players were injured. The Titans’ injury report on Thursday, prior of their game against the Miami Dolphins, reflects the previous game’s physicality.

We will begin with those who did not attend the workshop on Thursday. Because Jeffery Simmons and punter Ryan Stonehouse have already been ruled out for the season, they did not practice. In addition, cornerback Kristian Fulton, who Mike Vrabel predicted may be sidelined for a while, linebacker Joe Jones, and tight end Josh Whyle did not play. Six players, including center Aaron Brewer, linebacker Luke Gifford, defensive lineman T.K. McClendon, running back Derrick Henry, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and defensive lineman Denico Autry, were also limited participants. The last three days were all marked as relaxation days.

Finally, defender Terrell Edmunds, tight end Trevon Wesco, and quarterback Will Levis were all listed but did not play. Levis is still recovering from an ankle injury.

Because the game is on Monday, the Titans will have an extra day of preparation and recovery. That means there should be more hope that players will be able to suit up by game time. Miami is struggling with its own lengthy injury list, which includes eight players who will not play on Thursday. Star receiver Tyreek Hill and starting left tackle Terron Armstead are among those in this group. So, it’s worth keeping an eye on, but with the increased recovery time, the same hope should be extended to the Dolphins.
