Agent got angry and offered Bournemouth super star to title winning club – Player ‘unsuitable’ for PL

AFC Bournemouth took Marcos Senesi from Feyenoord last summer and he was a regular for them, making 31 league appearances and three more in cup competitions last season

The centre-back has a deal lasting until 2026 but wants to leave the Cherries in the summer window.

That’s according to Area Napoli, who state the Bournemouth defender’s profile is ‘unsuitable for English football’.

The report states this has seen the Argentine’s agent offer him to Napoli, who are in the market looking for a new centre-back, after selling Kim Min-jae to Bayern Munich.

Iraola’s squad may have just returned from a training camp in Spain, but the recruitment team at the Vitality Stadium has remained active with several other players being linked with a move to the South Coast.

Ecuadorian winger Gonzalo Plata and Real Valladolid teammate Ivan Fresneda have been two names mentioned, alongside Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow. But it is the Cherries’ pursuit of a new left-back that has taken centre stage with the departures of Jordan Zemura and Matias Vina leaving the squad thin.Marcos Senesi - Player profile 23/24 | Transfermarkt

As Romano reports, Bournemouth have already agreed a deal worth £15.5 million with AZ Alkmaar for the services of Kerkez. Now, the journalist has confirmed that the left-back will sign for the Dorset club upon completing his medical.

The player is already in England and will be a Bournemouth player by the end of Wednesday, July 19, the Italian journalist goes on to reveal.

Romano also says that the Hungarian has penned a four-year deal with the Premier League side.

It is unknown yet how much the young defender will earn on the South Coast, but it will surely be a vast improvement on the £~1,000 a week he currently earns in the Eredivisie.

Former Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli had looked at the defender in the past before deciding to bet on other players.

It’s said those who manage the 26-year-old would want him to ‘jump at the opportunity’ of joining the Italian champions in this window.

The website adds the option to play in Serie A has always been an ‘interesting prospect’ for Senesi, who would be ‘even happier’ to join a club like Napoli.

Area Napoli state Rudi Garcia’s side decision is still unknown, after they were offered an opportunity to sign the Bournemouth defender.
