Following their neck injuries on Thursday during the preseason game, two Philadelphia Eagles players were carted off the field, while the team said that both players were able to move all of their extremities.
After making a reception in the third quarter of a game against the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland seemed to fall on his neck or shoulder area. He was stretchered off the field.
Cleveland, 25, was surrounded by players from both teams before being wheeled off the field.
“QB Tyrie Cleveland is sidelined due to a cervical strain. All of his extremities are movable,” the club tweeted.
Eagles defensive tackle Moro Ojomo was carried off the field later in the fourth quarter due to what the team also said was a neck injury.
As he was being removed off the field, he offered a thumbs up.
He was able to move all of his extremities, according to the team.
In 2020, Cleveland was picked by the Denver Broncos. He was added to the Eagles’ practice squad in January. Ojomo was chosen by the Eagles in this year’s draft.
