IN PAIN: Raiders key man’s injury has been confirmed…..

The Las Vegas Raiders were hurt heading into their bye week.

The break could not have come at a better moment for the Silver and Black, who were desperate for their players to recover before the last and most important stretch of the season.

Before the first Week 14 injury report is revealed on Wednesday, here are several injuries to keep an eye out for:

Maxx Crosby

Maxx Crosby

The Raiders’ most worrying health situation right now is that of Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby, who played despite a knee injury in their last game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In Week 12, Crosby experienced what was likely the most difficult week of his NFL career. Despite being hospitalized and deemed questionable for the Chiefs game, he took the field and performed admirably.

Since Week 5, the fifth-year defensive end has been listed as out with a knee ailment. While he’s mostly been limited or absent from practice in order to be available for game-day plays, Crosby’s knee injury has become a major issue for him, and the organization has taken precautionary measures to heal it.

Despite being labeled as questionable, Raiders captain Kolton Miller returned to the field for the Kansas City game after missing two straight games.

Miller has been suffering from a shoulder issue. Miller has missed just three games in five seasons before to his two-game absence this year, highlighting how serious this injury has been for the veteran offensive tackle.

Miller was able to play 91 percent of the snaps in the Week 12 game, which is a good indication for Raider Nation, as the captain will be needed down the stretch.

Marcus Epps

Marcus Epps, the Raiders’ first-year safety, has yet to miss a game this season, but he came dangerously close in Week 12. Epps was listed as questionable for the Kansas City game after missing practice all week due to a neck issue.

Fans, like Miller, should be encouraged, given that the fifth-year safety was able to play against the Chiefs.

Robert Spillane

Robert Spillane, another first-year Raider, was also listed as questionable in Week 12, with an ankle ailment.

However, the veteran linebacker persevered and finished the game with 11 total tackles.

The Silver and Black will play the Minnesota Vikings at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
