Following Eagles player James Bradberry’s description of 49ers standout Deebo Samuel as “trash,” A.J. Brown shares his perspective on the incident.

When asked about San Francisco 49ers pass-catcher Deebo Samuel calling teammate James Bradberry “trash” during the NFC Championship game the previous season, wide receiver A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles was questioned on Friday. “I don’t believe Deebo is malicious. It’s just fun for him. I don’t believe Bradberry is being targeted. It is just the way he speaks,” Brown remarked. “He acts like a big kid.”

Since being traded to the Eagles, Brown has emerged as one of the league’s top receivers and has had a very successful season. He has a great relationship and connection with quarterback Jalen Hurts, racking up 73 receptions for 1,050 yards and seven touchdowns.

In response to a question from the media this week on his remarks regarding Bradberry prior of the Week 13 match, Samuel stated, “I don’t regret nothing I say.” The 49ers playmaker now has 34 receptions for 474 yards and a touchdown; he also has three touchdowns and 138 yards via the air.
