The Philadelphia Eagles released a Christmas record this year that featured defensive lineman Jordan Davis covering the song “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” from the 1944 movie “Meet Me in St. Louis.”
You can consider adding Davis’ rendition to your Christmas repertoire, alongside the likes of Lorna Luft, Frank Sinatra, and Sam Smith.
A behind-the-scenes video of the song’s recording was posted on the NFL’s TikTok, along with the statement, “His tone is impeccable.” “Whole team talented,” according to the Eagles’ team feed.

From 2018 to 2021, Davis was a member of the Georgia defense that captured the team’s first title since 1980. The Eagles selected him with the thirteenth overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Kelce brothers sing “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” a reworking of The Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York,” on the album. Shane MacGowan, an Irish punk rock musician who passed away earlier this week, wrote the song.
