SAD NEWS : After Jack Stoll,  brutal injury. He was confirmed……..

The Philadelphia Eagles’ injury list includes a few new names, but no major shocks. The Buffalo Bills, their Week 12 opponent, have severe injury worries at cornerback. The Eagles-Bills injury report is below, along with analysis.

Goedert is the team’s third leading receiver, trailing only A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. He has 38 catches for 410 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. His season started badly, with only 13 catches for 88 yards and no touchdowns in the Eagles’ first four games. However, in his last five games, he had 25 receptions for 322 yards and two touchdowns. With Goedert out for an extended period of time, the Eagles’ starting tight end is Jack Stoll, a solid blocker but a non-factor in the passing game. The Eagles also have Grant Calcaterra and Albert Okwuegbunam, both of whom are better receivers than blockers but lack Goedert’s talent on both levels.

Among the limited practice participants, Brown and Swift are the most well-known names. It will be worthwhile to keep track of their whereabouts as the week continues.Notable players on IR, PUP, suspension, and so on. Dean: Dean was the apparent No. 1 linebacker on the squad heading into the 2023 season, as the team expected him to play a much larger role than he did as a rookie in 2022. That did not go as planned, as he was placed on injured reserve after suffering a foot injury against the Patriots in Week 1. He returned in Week 6 and appeared in four games before being placed on injured reserve for the second time this season due to a foot issue. Dean has performed well when he has played.

Blocking, toughness first got Jack Stoll on the field at Nebraska, then with the Philadelphia Eagles

So far this season, Zach Cunningham has been the Eagles’ best linebacker, as he has been a muscular presence in the center of the defense. Nicholas Morrow has also had his moments, most notably three sacks in the Eagles’ overtime win over the Commanders.• Avonte Maddox, CB: Maddox underwent surgery to heal a torn pectoral muscle. His season is almost certainly done. Maddox, who was frequently injured, missed three games during the season in 2022 and was only able to play in two games in 2023. In addition, he missed three games in 2018, four in 2019, and six in 2020. When healthy, he is one of the finest slot corners in the NFL, but it appears that longevity will always be an issue.

• S Justin Evans: Evans was the Eagles’ first-round pick to start opposite Reed Blankenship, beating out Terrell Edmunds and Sydney Brown throughout training camp. He started four games for the Eagles earlier this season and has been competent when healthy. He had a long history of injuries, missing 43 games between 2017 and 2022 (not including the 2021 season, when he was not on an NFL roster), and he lost his starting spot when the Eagles traded for Kevin Byard. Evans’ 21-day practice window was opened by the Eagles last week.
