On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders will try to upset the Kansas City Chiefs at home. They may have to play without top defensive end Maxx Crosby, who is expected to miss practice for the second day in a row due to a knee injury, according to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
It should be emphasized that Las Vegas did not practice on Thanksgiving, but Crosby is said to have refused to participate on Thursday.
The Raiders were defeated by the Miami Dolphins 20-13 in Week 11. With a current record of 5-6, Las Vegas is attempting to stay in the postseason picture. Finding a way to win on Sunday would go a long way toward sneaking into the postseason, both in terms of standings and momentum.
If Crosby does not play on Sunday, the Raiders will have a very difficult time winning. He’s a fantastic player that helps to anchor the defense in Las Vegas.
